CueServer and Crestron Unite

Interactive Technologies and Crestron Electronics have completed a collaborative project to fully integrate the CueServer line of advanced DMX processors into Crestron's systems environment.

An official Integrated Partner Module has been released by Crestron that allows a Crestron processor to fully control one or more CueServer devices on the same network.

With the new CueServer module from Crestron, it's easier than ever to incorporate advanced DMX lighting control into a Crestron project.  Crestron can now assume full control of color-changing and/or moving light fixtures, advanced show playback or robust scripted control of any DMX-based lighting system through direct integration with Interactive Technologies' CueServer DMX processors.

A Crestron programmer can use either direct channel and fixture control through CueServer or trigger any of CueServer's events to begin advanced sequence playback from CueServer. Additionally, a Crestron system can monitor or be notified about DMX channels and events in CueServer for complete automation of DMX controlled lighting. The full CueScript programming langauage available in CueServer is available to a Crestron system.

Allow Crestron to control DMX lighting, give the ability for a DMX lighting console to send events to Crestron, have a Crestron system override a lighting show playing from another source or any combination of the above.  CueServer can greatly expand the DMX capabilities of a Crestron project.
