SceneStation for Residential Applications

Homeowners continue to desire more advanced lighting options in their showcase homes. Sophisticated Home Theater rooms, luxurious pools and unique entertainment and bar areas are increasingly using professional entertainment lighting fixtures to produce state-of-the-art environments for homeowners and their guests.

SceneStation provides the right combination of ease-of-use, attractive decor, and technical capability to control DMX-based lighting fixtures in residential settings. Whether you're looking to provide static scenes, or slowly changing looks that span many minutes or hours, or even sophisticated light shows, SceneStation delivers.

The SceneStation Studio software and/or IR Remote are easy enough to use even for users with no prior knowledge of how DMX controlled lighting fixtures work. With a few clicks or presses on the remote, the user can easily change a scene or adjust timing parameters and more.

Here are a few examples of how SceneStation can be used in Residential settings:

Example 1: A swimming pool is fitted with LED illuminators. A SceneStation is set up to provide simple white, plus several well coordinated colors with the pool's surroundings. Also, a "party" button is set up that make the lights dance and animate. SceneStation can also be set up to automatically turn the lights off several hours after they have been turned on.

Example 2: A home theater room uses DMX controlled color-changing cove lighting. The room is automated with a universal IR remote (or Crestron/Vantage/AMX) system. The automation system is set up to control the cove lighting along with the other A/V equipment by sending IR codes directly to the SceneStation.
