SceneStation Wireless Features

StationLinkWith the optional 2.4 GHz wireless "StationLink" module installed, a SceneStation becomes a tiny wireless lighting controller that can be operated, managed and triggered remotely via a secure wireless link between stations and/or to your computer.

StationLink

Multiple wireless SceneStations can be linked together wirelessly to create sophisticated lighting control scenarios. Wireless stations can be ganged together in the same wall-box to create one "super-station" with 10, 15, 20 or more buttons. Or, multiple stations can be located at different locations within a room or throughout a building to provide control points where they're needed.

In the simple case, only one station in a wireless group needs to output DMX, while the other stations act as "wireless slaves" to the master station. Each station can trigger the same or different presets that the master station is providing access to via its buttons.

Or, more complex scenarios can be built where multiple stations in a wireless group are all outputting a DMX signal. The DMX presets in each station can be programmed to be the same, or they can hold different channel levels - effectively increasing the number of DMX universes available for connecting to fixtures.

Wireless Station Management

The SceneStation USB Dongle with your Mac or Windows computer provides wireless access to the SceneStation Network. Using the free SceneStation Studio software (available from the Downloads page), users can discover nearby wireless stations, upload and download show files to and from their computer, remotely control a station and edit a station's show.

All wireless communications with SceneStation can be protected by a Security PIN, allowing only authorized users to control or edit a station.
